Join KAC in 40 days prayer and fasting.<\/p>\n

 <\/p><\/h3><\/div>

Kingdom Ambassador Centre (KAC), a growing church community known for its spiritual atmosphere, is currently in the midst of a powerful season of prophetic revival, fasting, and spiritual reawakening. Over the past weeks, Senior Pastor Randolph, Prophet Sharlette Reid, and Apostle Shamil have each delivered profound messages that are shaping the direction of the church. Pastor Randolph has led the congregation through a 40-day fast under the theme \u201cTake Charge,\u201d <\/b>encouraging members to not only seek God but to exercise spiritual dominion in every area of their lives.<\/p>\n

Pastor Randolph, first partook of this covenant of spending forty days in prayer and fasting before it became a communal journey for the church. Many times, he explained that in preparation for his annual global prayer movement Upper Room that he would spend time in prayer and fasting. He taught the church, through personal encounters and factual experiences in the Bible, the things that would in fact unfold after these 40 days.<\/p>\n

There are accounts of figures who embarked on a similar journey, like Moses, who left the children of Israel for forty days and forty nights to meet with the Lord on Mount Sinai. It is said that after this encounter his face shone with the glory of the Lord. Similarly, the life of Jesus demonstrates the urgency of entering into the wilderness for forty days and nights. After Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist, and the witnesses heard the voice of God declare, \u201cThis is my Son in whom I\u2019m well pleased,\u201d He was led into the wilderness, where He was tempted by the devil.<\/p>\n

Notice, that each forty-day experience involved a season of dwelling in the wilderness. The wilderness represents an uncultivated, uninhabited and inhospitable region. This forty-day journey doesn\u2019t feel comfortable, it doesn\u2019t feel nice and at times feels inhospitable, but it\u2019s in environments like these, when a person is stripped of all things pleasurable to the flesh, that one is able to koinonia with God, who is Spirit. For in times like these, one\u2019s spirit man is more open to the realm eternal. It is times like these that men of old encountered holy beings, and the voice of the Lord that changed their lives forever. For this reason, the church is encouraged to embark on this journey.<\/p>\n

This year, the fast is about taking charge which is contrary to other years where the church has focused on koinonia with the Lord and other themes. This fast is a deep season of warfare for the church as the focus is about exercising dominion here on earth as it is in heaven. Dominion was something that the Lord spoke over mankind in Genesis 1:26 but was revoked in Genesis 3 by the fall of man. The time is now for the church to take back dominion through the grace of Christ Jesus, to take back charge and for men and women to rise.<\/p>\n

HOW DOES ONE TAKE CHARGE?<\/b><\/p>\n

On Wednesday 2nd of July 2025, the beginning of the 40 days, Pastor Randolph kickstarted his new teaching series with a demand for growth. He reminds the congregation that in the church\u2019s pursuit to conquer Hackney, they have faced numerous attacks of the enemy which mimics all but one thing required of them -that they must grow. Like Jacob, one must be able to wrestle with the principalities and strongholds that try to oppress them, and they must be victorious. Pastor Randolph likens it to boxing, where each boxer\u2019s opponent is dependent on the weight category they fall into. It is the same in the spirit. If an individual\u2019s spirit-man cannot handle the weight of their adversary, they will always lose.<\/p>\n

However, one must remember the position they are fighting from and understand what it means to \u201cBe positioned for Victory.\u201d<\/b> Just like Ben Hadad in 1 Kings 20:23 who calls God \u201cthe god of the hills,\u201d the devil\u2019s agenda for believers is that they do not know the position from which they are fighting.<\/p>\n

Genesis 3:14-15 tells us the position of the enemy. The serpent was cursed for his deceit, which took him from a position of possessing legs to crawling on his belly; therefore, the enemy has been brought far below any beast and man. Alongside this, the writer of Genesis makes a point in verse 15 that Man would trample on the serpent and the serpent would bruise His heel.<\/p>\n

Pastor Randolph in his teaching determines that in order for the serpent to bruise the heel of man, he must be underfoot. Supporting this with Psalm 91:13, believers are said to \u201ctrample underfoot\u201d the cobra and the young lion. Hence, one automatically can understand the enemy\u2019s position is far below them. In Ephesians 1:20-21, Paul lets the reader know what it means to be seated in victory as Jesus Christ is seated far above all principalities and thrones. Christians too can determine their position using Ephesians 2:6 which states that they are seated in heavenly places with Christ. Therefore, now that the position of man, Jesus Christ, and the devil is known, one can effectively take charge.<\/p>\n

Pastor Randolph, drawing from Genesis 1:26 and Genesis 2, reminded the congregation that God’s original mandate for mankind was dominion and stewardship. “The essence of the creation of man,” he preached, “is to make sure that man continues the legacy of God in the earth realm.”<\/p>\n

His teaching emphasized the importance of not always waiting for audible instructions from God but maturing to the point where wisdom guides actions. In Genesis 2:19, the word name in Hebrew is shem, which means to give reputation. Meaning that Adam would meet a lion in the Garden of Eden and give it its name and reputation of boldness, pride, and ferocity. Pastor Randolph informs us that when taking dominion, sometimes God comes to see what name you will give a situation. This is what is required to walk in the dominion God designed to give to man.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\"Article<\/span><\/div>

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

DOMINION WITHOUT SPIRITUAL WEIGHT\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

Pastor Randolph zoned into the life and birth of John the Baptist. The following verse reads:<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

For many believers, this scripture reveals a critical principle of spiritual development: God prepares people in private before revealing them in public. Pastor Randolph emphasized that many believers desire visibility and influence but lack the spiritual strength to handle it. John\u2019s process in the wilderness, which was away from platforms, people, and applause. It was not a delay, but a divine necessity.<\/p>\n

Pastor Randolph taught \u201cbecoming strong in spirit\u201d is a spiritual strength that is not measured by charisma, popularity, or public ministry but it is earned in the wilderness. He described this strength as stature in the spiritual realm, something that cannot be faked, borrowed, or inherited.<\/p>\n

He warned the congregation against rushing into visibility without the required substance to sustain it. Too many, he noted, are \u201cexposed prematurely,\u201d stepping into spiritual warfare or leadership roles with no weight to back it up. The wilderness, as shown in John\u2019s life, is not a punishment but a place of fortification, tying perfectly into the church\u2019s ongoing call to \u201cTake Charge.\u201d According to Pastor Randolph, taking charge does not begin with authority over others; it begins with mastery over oneself, forged through discipline, prayer, and obedience during seasons of obscurity.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, one must therefore grow spiritual weight in their time in the wilderness, but how? Through prayer and fasting. Pastor Randolph uses 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 to illustrate the purpose and power of fasting. He taught that during seasons of consecration, the believer must confront the tension between two realities: the weakening of the flesh (the outward man) and the empowerment of the spirit (the inward man).<\/p>\n

The outward man represents the natural body, human will, emotions, and appetites and everything that is temporal and subject to decline. This includes physical fatigue, hunger, and the discomfort often felt during long fasts. While many interpret this decline as weakness or failure, Pastor Randolph deems it as proof of spiritual restructuring.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the discomfort believers experience during fasts is not a sign of death, but of reconfiguration where the dominance of the flesh is being replaced with the sensitivity of the spirit. A process that is not always pleasant, but is always productive.<\/p>\n

The inward man, on the other hand, is the part of every believer that communes with God, receives revelation, and governs in the unseen realm. Pastor Randolph explained that as the body is denied its usual indulgences, the spirit rises in its authority and governance over the body.<\/p>\n

While the world may see someone physically weakened by fasting, the spirit realm recognises a person who has gained substance, depth, and rank.<\/p>\n

Quoting Paul\u2019s declaration that \u201cour light affliction is but for a moment,\u201d he explained that the trials and sacrifices of the fast are momentary discomforts that are producing something far more significant, \u201ca far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.\u201d<\/p>\n

This \u201cweight,\u201d Pastor Randolph taught, is not emotional or symbolic, it is spiritual weight that allows a believer to speak and act with Heaven\u2019s backing.<\/p>\n

Another way of spiritual growth is through the Word of God. Prophet Sharlette touched on the importance of breaking bread (Dissecting The Word of God). Her message highlighted that in every area of transformation, breaking bread occurs before the feeding, and the feeding precedes revelation. Prophet Sharlette emphasised that the bread Jesus broke at the table was not just a symbol of His physical body, but a prophetic mirror of the Word made flesh being offered up.<\/p>\n

In her teaching, she explained that many believers want to carry revelation, preach with authority, or walk in divine insight but avoid the process of being broken. Yet, in the same way Jesus \u201ctook bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it,\u201dthe Word of God follows that same pattern in the life of every yielded vessel. She asserted that before a person can be used to feed nations or release wisdom, they must first be broken by the Word they carry. Taking it further Prophet Sharlette warned that the Word must not only be read or memorized, it must be ingested, lived, and submitted to. And just like natural bread must be broken down to nourish the body, spiritual bread, which is the Word, must break down pride, self-will, emotional defences, and religious fa\u00e7ades to feed the soul.<\/p>\n

Breaking the Bread<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n

Moreover, Prophet Sharlette explained that the breaking of the Word is also a weapon of warfare. When the believer internalizes the Word and allows it to confront hidden places, it becomes both bread and sword, sustaining life and severing demonic chains. She also began to prophesy over the church and announced future plans the Lord has in store for the Kingdom Ambassador Centre.<\/p>\n

In coherence with this, Apostle Shamil, of Revolutionise The Nations Apostolic Centre (RTN) in Amsterdam, visited the church where he taught about Prophecy, as well as ushering the church into their prophetic season. Pastor Randolph, desperate for the church to redeem this season, took us to 1 Timothy 1:18 where Paul talks about the prophecies Timothy had received as \u201cprevious prophecies\u201d and that he should \u201cwage a good warfare\u201d for them. Pastor Randolph therefore taught it is essential during these 40 days that KAC must contend for the things spoken over her and that unredeemed prophecies are like gift cards purchased and never used. Therefore, the church is encouraged in this prophetic season of taking charge, although warfare arises, they must contend and overcome.<\/p>\n

As we have come to the end of the 40 days, Kingdom Ambassador Centre remains deeply rooted in its call to take spiritual dominion. The combination of fasting, prayer, and scriptural teaching is forging a spiritually resilient people, prepared not only to withstand the wilderness but to rule from it. This is not merely a season of devotion but a divine commissioning, even so the charge has been given, the position is clear, and now the church must rise and take charge. Pastor Randolph informs the church that although the 40 days are over, after the Upper Room, the fasting continues.<\/p>\n
