On Friday, 7th June 2025, Walking Like Jesus Ministries (WLJM) hosted a mass evangelism event in Westminster, London – drawing thousands of people from every creed and nation, all gathered before iconic landmarks such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

WLJM is a ministry led by Evangelist Daniel Chand, who has been a leading force in bringing people to Jesus and salvation in His name through campaigns and international open-air crusades.

In the last 11 years, WLJM has hosted crusades in more than 32 nations – including Poland, Finland, Ethiopia and many more. Just last month though, the ministry found itself in London’s political centre and they lifted the name of Jesus above every historical artefact.

This was not WLJM’s first rodeo with an event of this size, as they have hosted an event in Trafalgar Square where thousands gave their life to Christ. Trafalgar Square saw 70,000 people turn out to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, declaring London to belong to the Lord. Although hosted in a different location within London this year, the event still carried a similar sentiment to last year’s. However, the atmosphere felt more charged, almost combative, with believers taking an offensive stance against anything that had previously claimed dominion over the land of London.

With hands lifted and hearts committed, believers stood unified in the spirit of Philippians 2:2, the very illustration of harmonious love expressed to Jesus who reigns victorious. In a climate where legislation has restricted public declarations of the Gospel, this event stands as a show of force – the name of Jesus in the mouths of believers operating as a weapon against the forces of darkness present in the United Kingdom.

Instances such as the arrest of Army veteran Adam Smith-Connor, for saying a silent prayer near an abortion clinic highlight the need for the people of God to stand up. The time to take dominion, to heed the individual calls we all have, is now and not any later. The same dominion that God granted to Adam in Genesis 1:28 to ‘subdue the earth’ is now in the hands of believers through their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. No legislative orders or opposing forces have any power over the body of Christ, which has risen to take charge and reclaim everything that she may have lost or surrendered to other powers.

Christianity in the UK is on a decline, with research by Brierley Consultancy published in Church Statistics, offering key insights into church membership trends from 2005 to 2010, along with projections up to 2025. The most recent census, conducted in 2021, revealed that 46.2% of the UK population identified as Christian, while 37.2% identified as having no religion. Church membership in the UK has also continued to decline, with figures for England alone projected to fall to 2.53 million or just 4.3% of the population by 2025.

“Just look at the turnout. People think Christianity is on the decline, but a revival is very much underway,” Chand said.

Declaring that the United Kingdom belongs to Jesus in the very political heart of the city marks a historic moment and the fulfilment of the scripture. Testifying of Christ to a nation that once prided itself on its Christian roots and is now being called back to its first love. The event embodied taking charge, a pivotal moment in the revival of nations, which is making way for the proclamation and glorification of the name of Jesus Christ across the earth.

There is a revival happening not only in London or in the United Kingdom, but in the entire world, with a great light having dawned. Every dark place is becoming a dwelling place for the Kingdom of God and knees will bow and tongues confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Beyond events like this one hosted by WLJM, the body of Christ has a call to be a conduit for the kingdom of God to be established here on earth. There is a need for the body of Christ to take dominion over territories for the King of kings.

Events like this are great conduits for this to be the case, however, for Kingdom Ambassadors Centre, there is a necessity to be engines of change. As cities set on hills, the time is now for them to take charge of this nation and make the United Kingdom united in her belief and love for Jesus Christ alone. One can begin with preaching the Good News in their homes, workplaces and communities and take charge of the territory they live within.
